Get ready for your Namibian hunting adventure with all the essential information in one place
Trophy hunting in Namibia is open from February to November.
May–July:
Day: 20–25°C | Night: 0–5°C
September–April:
Day: 29–40°C | Night: 15–25°C
January–March is the rainy season.
These conditions help hunters prepare for the climate and pack accordingly.
Light, breathable cotton clothing has proven ideal for the Namibian climate, while synthetic materials are generally not recommended.
We also advise bringing:
A wide‑brimmed sun hat
Sunglasses
Sunscreen
Well‑broken‑in shoes suitable for walking and hunting
Binoculas
These essentials ensure comfort and protection throughout your safari.
Travel Documents & Requirements
To enter and leave Namibia, your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your departure date and contain at least four blank pages.
We strongly recommend taking out travel and medical insurance for the duration of your trip.
For minors, the following documents are required:
An unabridged international birth certificate in English
A consent letter from the non‑traveling parent (if only one parent is accompanying the child)
All additional hunting‑related documents — including your hunting invitation and hunting license — will be arranged by us.
Most international visitors require a tourist visa to enter Namibia, and many nationalities are eligible for a visa on arrival at the airport or border posts. Visa rules can vary depending on your country of residence, so it’s best to check the latest requirements with your local Namibian embassy or consulate before traveling.
If your nationality requires a pre‑arranged visa, we can provide any supporting documents needed for your application, including your hunting invitation and itinerary details.
